Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan Hizbiyyah is a term used in reference to partisanship and sectarianism in Islam. A Muslim who adopts this as his methodology is described as a: ‘hizbi’. Hizb is a partisan confederation formed in aid of falsehood to wage war against the truth and its people. “And the confederations after them denied their Messengers, and every nation plotted against their Messenger to seize him, and dispute using falsehood to refute therewith the truth”.
