Du’aa before intercourse if my wife is already pregnant? – Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen رحمه الله http://mtws.posthaven.com/should-i-ma… Translated by Rasheed ibn Estes Barbee حفظه الله Translator’s note: This is referring to the supplication made before intercourse; narrated in the following hadith. اَللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنَا اَلشَّيْطَانَ وَجَنِّبِ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا; فَإِنَّهُ إِنْ يُقَدَّرْ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَدٌ فِي ذَلِكَ, لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ اَلشَّيْطَانُ أَبَدًا Narrated from Ibn Abbas رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا, he said: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: ‘if one of you intends to go to his wife let him say: “In the Name of Allah. O Allah; keep Shaytan away from us, and keep Shaytan away from the one You have bestowed upon us.” Thus if it is decreed they should have a child from this encounter, Shaytan will never be able to harm him.
